Feed Design Lab is the practical research and education center for innovation & sustainability within the feed sector. Around 100 companies, both national and international, are partners in Feed Design Lab and actively participate in the network. Sandra Baan was invited to give a presentation on the expected transitions in the Agro and Livestock sector.

Sandra's advice: innovate by making cross-sector connections and especially look for these in completely different partnerships and products. She also said, "Time is moving so fast now and the complexity of our society now demands disruptive behavior and action. We really need to change course." Sandra indicated that her mentor Professor Jan Rotmans talks about how our societies and economy are fundamentally changing. We are living in an era of major societal shifts that are causing chaos and instability. IBI2 picks up where Jan Rotmans leaves off, we put together a club of innovators with the goal of looking at innovation in an sustainable way and a different perspective.
